When did I find out that I was pregant?

My first thoughts was " I am pregant!" How are we going to afford this little bundle of joy! Is he/she going to be okay! Will he/she have homocystinuria?

When did I found out that I was pregrant? On March 23 1999. The doctors expected my baby to be born on Nov. 11 1999.

My doctor said that becuase of my high levels in my body and becuase of myself having homocystinuria I will have a high risk pregrancey. He suggested to take my "Betaine" still even if we do not know how the baby will be (problemes or not problmes.) Either way it is taking a chance.If i don't take it then we both can get blood clots and if we do God only know what will happen to the baby or not.

Their are 3 cases so far reported where the mother who had homocystinuria and where takning "Betaine." of the three cases two where fine and one baby had a heart problem. Becuause so little is known about "Betaine" and what it does on the fetus my doctor doesn't know what to reall say, but to take my "Betaine."

What are the signs of blood cloths? Very bad headache, shortness of breath, bad legs and armes.

My first ultrasound is the twelve week of my pregancey, which is on April 23 1999. It will tell me if the baby is doing well or not. Also the ultrasound will show for sure how long I am.

Dr. Luice Morin from Royal Victoria Hospital will be treating me for high risk pregancey.
